Last week was Spring Break for my kids. We spent it with my mom!
It was a nice time to be there... got me thinking of moving back. We'd be close to family, and my husband wouldn't have to drive 3 hours everyday to go to work. I think the decision has been made. :-)
OH!! One more thing that happened!! I received my Raspberry Chameleon!!
I'm loving it! It is so much softer then the Finsbury. Not stiff. Has the same pockets, the card slots are vertical instead of horizontal, the pen loop is on the left side, and the rings are perfect!
The only thing I'm noticing is that it doesn't hold as much as the Fin. I'm thinking about taking some things out.. The things I don't use.. If it doesn't work back to Fin I go!
Still have googly eyes for the Malden... Maybe one day!
Hi there, loving this blog. Filofax newbie here! In fact, my first one is currently in the mail to me! I was wondering out the washi tape. I love how it looks on the paper edges, both inside edge and top or bottom (either/or, not all of the above at once). Do you have any issues with the pages getting to...how shall I say...lumpy? First I thought I'd use it on inside edge only, I like the reinforcing of the holes. But then I was thinking that if it was two pieces of washi for every one page (front and back) then it might get too much off a ridge on there? So I supposed it could be evened out by not using the same placement day after day?? Or maybe not puttint the entire year's diary in there? But from my prior planning experiences, I prefer the complete year with me at times. Ay yi yi! I'm here to learn from you professionals!

DeleteI couldn't make up my mind so I have ordered two: personal Finsbury in raspberry and personal Aston in Orchid. My fear is that I will lve them both and want to keep them both! But I also have a personal purple Malden scheduled for shipping late next month! I do not need to go from zero to three Filofaxes in one month! What I'm hoping is that I will love one of the ones coming next week so much that I will return the second one and cancel the Malden!! Ha ha! We will see!
